GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS - LYON & GRACE
Introduction and concerned parties
Article 1: Definition of Parties
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as “T&Cs”) govern the contractual relationships between:
On one hand, Lyon & Grace, a service providing private exclusive Discovery Tours and tailored experiences and events, legally operated by the company Bureau des Possibles, (hereinafter referred to as “the Organizer”).
And on the other hand, any individual or legal entity wishing to benefit from the services offered by Lyon & Grace, (hereinafter referred to as “the Client”).
Article 2: Definitions
In these T&Cs, the following terms have, unless otherwise specified, the respective meanings:
- “Service”: exclusive private Discovery Tours and tailored artistic or heritage experiences and events, or any other service offered by Lyon & Grace.
- “Tour”: cultural itineraries accompanied by a professional curator, providing access to private or public places according to the selected offer.
- “Experience”: a package including one or more tours, meetings with local partners, and associated services.
- “Reservation”: the Client’s commitment to participate in a Service on an agreed date and time.
- “Partner”: artist, craftsperson, gallery owner, or any other professional or entity collaborating with Lyon & Grace to offer exclusive experiences.
It is specified that the sale of tickets for the Services is managed by the BilletWeb solution, which has its own General Terms and Conditions of Use and Sale, accessible during the purchase process.
Purpose and scope
Article 3: Purpose
These T&Cs define the conditions for providing Discovery Tours and cultural experiences offered by Lyon & Grace to Clients.
They apply to all Services offered and form, together with the service description, the contract between the Organizer and the Client.
Article 4: Acceptance of the T&Cs
Booking a Service implies full acceptance of these T&Cs.
The Client also accepts BilletWeb’s T&Cs, used for reservations and payments. In case of conflict between these two documents, these present T&Cs prevail for Client-Organizer relations, while BilletWeb’s apply to the reservation and payment process.
Description of services
Article 5: Nature of Services
Lyon & Grace offers exclusive private Discovery Tours and custom-created events including:
- Visits to artists’ studios and craft workshops,
- Access to private places or locations usually closed to the public
- Meetings with local artists and cultural figures
- Gastronomic experiences
- Themed Discovery Tours in Lyon and its surrounding region.
Services are available in French or English.
Article 6: Group Size
Tours are designed for private groups of 2 to 6 people or for businesses which will be subject to specific proposals.
Réservation and payment
Article 7: Reservation and Payment Conditions
For all matters concerning:
- The reservation process
- Payment methods and accepted currencies
- Deposit policy (30% upon reservation)
- Pricing conditions (inclusions/exclusions)
- Cancellation and modification policy
- Refund conditions
- Respective responsibilities of the client and the organizer
The Client must refer to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) of our ticketing provider BilletWeb, accessible during the purchase process.
Privacy policy
Article 8: Protection of Personal Data
For all matters concerning:
- Types of data collected
- Purposes of collection
- Data retention period
- Your rights (access, rectification, deletion)
- Use of cookies
- Potential transfer of data to third parties
The Client is invited to consult BilletWeb’s Privacy Policy, accessible on their website.
Lyon & Grace commits to complying with current regulations applicable to the processing of personal data and, in particular, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Specific conditions related to the activity
Article 9: Insurance and Guarantees
Lyon & Grace is operated by the company Bureau des Possibles which has professional liability insurance covering damages that clients may suffer during Discovery Tours or specific events.
The financial guarantees required by regulations applicable to travel operators are ensured through the Bureau des Possibles supporting structure.
Article 10: Physical Conditions
Some tours may require an appropriate physical condition (prolonged walking, stairs, etc.). This information is specified in the description of services.
The Client is required to inform the Organizer of any particular difficulty that may affect the smooth running of the tour.
Article 11: Image Rights
Photos may be taken by the Organizer during tours. By accepting these T&Cs, the Client authorizes Lyon & Grace to use these images on its communication materials, unless expressly opposed in writing.
The Client may photograph the visited places for personal use, unless otherwise specified during the tour.
Intellectual property
Article 13: Website Content and Trademarks
All elements of the Lyon & Grace website (texts, images, logo, etc.) are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of the Organizer or its partners.
Any reproduction, representation or distribution, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorization from Lyon & Grace.
Final provisions
Article 14: Applicable Law and Disputes
These T&Cs are subject to French law.
In case of dispute, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution before any legal action.
Any dispute relating to the interpretation and execution of these T&Cs is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Lyon.
These General Terms and Conditions were updated on March 25, 2025. Lyon & Grace reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. The modifications will be applicable as soon as they are posted on the website.
